Doug Silveira is Santa Cruz Home Design.

I’ve worked designing and building custom homes, additions and remodels in Santa Cruz since 1976.

My goal is to produce designs custom tailored to complement the client’s lifestyle.

I design residential projects large and small, simple to elaborate, traditional or modern in style for home owners, investors and contractor’s clients.

From the start I’ve obtained permits, resolved land use issues and made successful project presentations to City, County, State and Federal agencies. Experience, persistence and a reliable track record are the keys to success. Of equal importance is the team of design professionals assembled for each individual project circumstance.

In addition to my numerous projects in Santa Cruz County, I’ve also designed luxury vacation homes in the Sierra and estates in Silicon Valley, Hawaii and New Zealand.
